shatter

nowhere left to go

standing,

at the crossroads

just a man.

searching the sand

for his fingerprints,

lost

so long ago.

echoes of yesterday

mirrors across today

almost time to die.

frozen tears never fall

they,

just shatter.

- jude

carving jade

an ever sky

water reflected

star sight

a woman in the light

she carries,

no regrets.

a sword across her soul

he stands

between,

ancient tears

and

his sky dreams,

he is what he seems

carving jade

from memory

her face across his fingers

as a wind across the moon

fingerprints upon a glass

wine shared across a paris night

when a man

and a woman

dare,

to love.

a quiet evening

whispers sweetly

before tomorrow.

- jude

a longer moment

wake

in the morning light

soft eyes,

a child dreams

no more.

swim

where the water falls,

clean and light

bubbles carry the air

free.

dream,

the child walks

color carries across

the wind,

time dreams across

the night.

whispers

a child holds

her hopes

her fears

deep in the palm

of an open hand.

sand

an autumn rain

washes

all the windows

in a moment

ever so still.

silent eyes

hold deeply

in wonder

watching

the dancers

dance.

walk

city sidewalks

across

street lamp

shadows

waiting.

talk

across the whispers

hear the voices

of people,

trying to sing.

sing

a child drifts

across words,

skipping along

her hopes and fears

echoing her years.

love

the eyes she sees

touching her

deeply her soul

and tomorrow.

- jude

sweet passion, sweet youth

long gone

the days

who once lingered on

always,

stretching the song.

can i believe,

that the stain

remains,

still, true to skin.

growing old

with the cold winds of yesterday

still

prowling my soul’s dreams.

sweet passion

- jude

in the darkness

eyes in the darkness

seeing

in a dream

across the sand

footprints carved

going

street scream

tears fill your hand

just your fingerprints

who command

- jude

slow in dance

slow in dance

arms holding

music of chance

i see your eyes

i was lost.

she saw me

but couldn’t believe

she held me

but wouldn’t dream

her fingerprints whispered

and sighs were soft

i was lost.

i bleed,

below the moon.

i believe in

fingerprints lost.

remembering a dance

who you were

who you are,

time across shadows

voices silent

on a backstreet chance.

slow in dance

i am lost.

- jude

whispers of sin

would

i love you, still

if we met thirty years

older.

could

we remember the sighs

long youthful tries.

do

you see the wind

the time changing sands

waiting to begin.

i whisper of sin

so quiet,

deep in my soul

would

you love me, still.

- jude

singing songs

singing songs

who never end,

woman walks

the dreams

true.

sweet rhythm

sweeter blues,

she belongs to yesterday.

and will still

wander those roads

beyond tomorrow.

singing songs

where she belongs

and the earth listens.

- jude

black iron fences

it was summer

on a night long

and slow.

just a boy with

somewhere to go

just a boy with

someone to love

i jumped a fence

of black and sharp iron,

just to find the rose

that would whisper to your eyes.

empty pockets

and a soul full of sighs,

could he only try,

should have gone

to war and died.

lost nights

where blows my

summer winds.

- jude

evening

water for dance

shadows last.

walk the paris streets,

slow.

sweet rain,

all their eyes linger

within my soul,

evening.

- jude

behind the seams of fairy light

she hides,

on the edge

of the wind

as

her words dance

on fairy dreams

whispering mirror-light

breaking silence

easing the sight

of all her screams

till they believe

till she believes.

- jude

fairy-light

dream,

where whispers the fireflies.

fairy light calls

in the night,

she walks with

mischief,

blends into the colors

of love,

she dances on the water

falling,

and chances

beyond the seams

of words

silently spoken.

she dreams

on where whispers

the fireflies –

deep in the night.

- jude

shadows in the darkness

shadows in the darkness

where whisper her eyes,

so close

in the echoes,

she cries silence.

her skin taut, remembers

where fingers linger,

when eyes try to believe

she sees.

alone,

so alone in the shadows

a woman needs to breathe

or to perceive,

silk in feel

so soft that river wind

she stands naked in the mirror

but she stands alone.

and yet,

so the wind reaches.

- jude

the sea dreams

and so

the sea dreams,

where the soul screams

whispers are

in the fingerprints

carried,

in the love

married,

sweet eyes lie

within,

where the china wind

blows,

crossing oceans

to believe.

and so,

the sea dreams.

- jude

longer dreams

long walks

under street-lamp

sighs and

long night strides,

all across concrete sidewalks

which never end.

nowhere to rest

with her lips

sweet upon your soul,

but where have you gone

my wandering young man

longer dreams,

have they carried you

far

where is the ocean water

to wash your naked feet

clean

do you remember what it means

- jude

cry your dreams

cry your dreams

child,

cry silent your screams

as

still again,

those masters of war

face our souls

and try to ignore.

the broken tears

lying

shattered still,

across graveyards

too full.

our children

there they lie,

lost to reason

lost to sky

fatherless children

asking

still asking why?

do we bleed

our eyes blind,

dreaming

chanting still,

for peace

for reason

for a season

of belief in more.

- jude

remember

at seventeen

was i,

so old

so young.

and

it was there

i first met war.

i saw their broken eyes

those that returned

from vietnam,

a (so called)

american war.

they were the children

i knew,

broken as toys

discarded into

the lost echoes

of a history,

now unwritten

in our schools.

sweet children

lost to their sighs

torn from their tries

or

just names

written on a wall,

a wall of tears.

at eighteen

i was

willing to die,

but could cry no more.

i was willing

to die

but for love

not for war.

remember!

- jude

color

reasons to believe

in the water

free dreaming

silent screaming

time is the whispers

that carry

your colors free

she paints,

color

to the wind

of her seasons

reasons to believe

- jude

long whispers

a wind dreamer

in her long

whispers

will dance

across

the break

of dusk into night,

all for the chance

of hearing

into time's echo.

in her eyes

an ancient sea sighs

where she colors light

as paint upon her belief,

all where carries

her tomorrows

her dreams,

free.

bleeds my soul !

snow wind

blowing,

crosses shadow across

a dry

winter sky.

trying to believe

in this season of peace,

but

the soles of my feet crack

as i walk

still again

where frozen rivers sigh.

an aging boy

trying not

to walk away

when

again

the season freezes

and

the water flows free

no more.

bleeds my soul

seasons of peace

and will you catch

(this time)

my tears,

as they shatter

on the ground

the red frozen

earth,

lost to the sound

of...

and so,

bleeds my soul.

                        - jude

winter song

rain on an autumn day.

window sitting

and wandering

across the turning colors

whispering as trees.

dares one listen to time

which moves,

as does it please;

cold down rivers long.

window dreaming,

can it silence my cries

my cries for peace.

i wait for winter

upon a soul gone cold.

have i lost the song.

window yearning

for the dreams of children

for the simple dreams to return.

my eyes sigh

their fireplace tears,

still crying.

and all these days of peace,

have they

moved on?

winter, winter,

winter song.

                 - jude

in peace

watching the water dance

cold running river,

frozen soul

wind searching

looking,

for a season

to believe in

a reason to bleed

free.

watching a child dream,

warm

on a winter’s night

shadows from a

window clear,

cast their silence

across closed eyes

and a sigh

is offered for free

to a universe

listening.

watching a memory

where only the wind

dares dance.

and a soul

cares to stare.

tomorrow,

where do you chance

to catch,

to dream

a season

a reason to believe

in the children

and yes,

in peace.

                        - jude

dare to believe

long

in the dark of night

the children sleep

within

the shadows of their dreams

deep inside

is the water dance

where their souls

fly beyond the seams

soft is the hope

of a child’s sigh

and here

do our children play

and here

do our children try.

deep is the reach

of a child’s dreams.

shall we

chance

a chant for peace

in song,

to the children

to their earth

just

for a season

just

for a moment.

all for the children

who still dare

to believe.

                       - jude

only

colder winters

wrapped you warm

as you walked

your frozen screams

across the ice river

of a

young girl’s mind

silent fingers whisper

as wind,

blowing where

the sands of your soul.

and from here only

the boy

rambled on.

beyond the song,

always

beyond the song.

time.
